Hong Kong is renown for its dim sum and amazing POV gastro-porn. They say that you can eat in a different restaurant everyday for the rest of your life in Hong Kong. Not surprising considering the shelf life of new restaurant owners being comparable to a White House employee. Bearing in mind the gluttony of amazing Asian food available I have decided to exit through the gift shop and bring to you some personal reviews of burger joints the Fragrant Harbour has to offer.
First on the list but not first in my chronological adventure* is Kabo Burger (Est. 2015). Yes,
the Kabo Burger that has stood the test the time like the Colosseum ready for gladiatorial combat with a patty everyday till 9 pm.

| Wrapping of a very stable genius |
The interior of Kabo Burger (Est. 2015) is modern and unfussy, and the operation looks slick with cool looking people looking like they are doing cool things. They even have an LCD screen telling you when your burger is ready. It reminded me of the immigration department in Wan Chai. Very nice touch. I ordered the Baked Brie Cheese Burger while The One From The Wirral got the Black Truffle Cheese Burger. They came wrapped in a tasteful wrapper with some Chinese writing that looked like a burger. Genius. We took the payload back to the palais and sneaked in a fried egg for a laugh and got stuck in.

| Black Truffle and nothing else burger |
Looking at the burger, I did feel a bit underwhelmed like seeing David Moyes in the dugout. My fears were realised. The England cricket team can be summed up by this burger - limp, soft in the centre and generally not very good. The patty was lifeless and tasteless, and the brie only made the whole thing sloppy. I should have placed the egg on my face rather than in the burger. The black truffle cheese burger had too much truffle. In fact, I doubt it was truffle considering how much was in it. It made the burger taste like an old gym sock. The fries were standard but who goes mad for the fries at a burger joint? Possibly only a "very stable genius" who is "like, very smart" (Donald J Trump).
Sorry, Kabo Burger (Est. 2015), The HoDown says: Kab-no.
